Mr. Kevin Cline is the 2016 National History Teacher of the Year. He teaches United States history and government as well as world history at Frankton High School in Frankton, Indiana. Mr. Cline believes that to be successful in the classroom, teachers need to develop an effective working relationship with students and create an educational and student-friendly environment. In his classroom, Mr. Cline is known to use digital tools. He also worked with IU on Freedom Summer, an interactive, educational app on the Civil Rights Movement.
