Bill Breeden was one half of the third set of twins and three singles born to the same mother. He spent the first 18 years of his life on an 80-acre farm near Odon, Indiana. He and his wife Glenda now live in the woods of Owen County, Indiana. They have two adult children and one teenage grandson. Bill has a B.A. and an M. Div. in Religion and Philosophy and served as an Associate Instructor of Criminal Justice at Indiana University. He has served as a minister in the Christian Church (DOC) and recently retired after 13 years as co-minister of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington, IN. He also spent several years as a professional truck driver.

Bill and Glenda are peace activists who have practiced non-violent civil disobedience resulting in short terms of incarceration. Bill has twice driven truckloads of aid to Nicaragua, the first in 1989 during the Contra War, and again in 1999 after hurricane Mitch. The 1989 trip included a short paid vacation provided by the Honduran military with amenities such as handcuffs, blindfolds, interrogation, and time in a pitch dark, hand-dug dungeon. Fortunately, he and his companions were released unharmed. In 2016 he was a candidate for Indiana State Representative in District #46.
