Barb Backler is a retired educator from Bloomington, Indiana. She has her Teaching Certificate and Administrators license. Her focal point was Elementary Education with a Special Education endorsement. Barb worked at Harmony School, a very special alternative school where teachers know their students well and build on their strengths, for 20 years as a teacher, an outreach coordinator, a curriculum coordinator and an advocate for children with special needs. Those were 20 great years and certainly helped define who she is as an educator.
