V. Balakrishnan is an alumnus of National School of Drama, New Delhi with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Acting. He was born in Delhi but has been living in Chennai for the past 22 years. He has been teaching drama in Alpha to Omega Learning Centre for the past 16 years. During his time at IU, he conducted an inquiry project titled - Theatre: Necessities and Application – Role Play for Liberation.
