How has INSPIRE or the School of Education helped you grow as a future teacher?
INSPIRE has helped me grow as a future teacher by allowing me to not only connect with peers but connect with successful educators to hear their stories and struggles. My classes in the School of Ed have all touched on important topics to me, and education.
What has been your favorite experience as a member of the INSPIRE so far?
My favorite experience with INSPIRE isn’t just one moment. But the moments I will have with the close friends and relationships I built being on the INSPIRE floor.
You cannot go wrong with applying. INSPIRE provides great opportunities. Even if you don’t benefit educationally, you will benefit from the community, love, and friendship that comes with an LLC.
What influenced your decision to become a Peer Leader?
I decided to become a Peer Leader because I have a passion for education, and I think INSPIRE does a great job of helping me pursue things I’m interested in.
What are some of the responsibilities you have as a Peer Leader?
As Peer Leaders, we set the atmosphere for the floor and incoming freshman. We really create a community and a space for friendships.
Do you have any advice for anyone who might be thinking about applying to INSPIRE?
I would say that you cannot go wrong with applying. INSPIRE provides great opportunities. Even if you don’t benefit educationally, you will benefit from the community, love, and friendship that comes with an LLC.
What would you say to someone considering joining INSPIRE?
I would say INSPIRE was the best choice I could’ve made.
