Getting to meet so many amazing people with different backgrounds and understanding of the world. A great example of this is the floor trip to Bradford Woods, where we do team building activities and get people out of their comfort zone.
How has INSPIRE or the School of Ed helped you grow as a future teacher?
I have learned a lot from my peers and other teachers in the field through this program. I have also improved my teaching techniques, learned different ways of at looking difficult situations, and learned many other important skills.
It gives you such an amazing opportunity to meet new people, try new things and grow as a person.
What influenced your decision to become a Peer Leader?
The opportunity to learn more about teaching and take on a leadership role to help guide students.
What are some of the responsibilities you have as a peer leader?
Helping younger students and leading impact teams to create a better environment and learn more about what it means to be a teacher.
Do you have any advice for anyone who might be thinking about applying to INSPIRE?
It's worth doing! It gives you such an amazing opportunity to meet new people, try new things, and grow as a person.
